As a Sustainability Water Management Specialist here at Solstice Advanced Materials (SAM), you will be responsible for developing and implementing water management strategies and initiatives to ensure a culture of environmental responsibility within the organization. You will play a critical role in supporting water management, mitigating water-related risks, and promoting sustainable water practices. Your expertise in water management and sustainability will enable us to enhance our environmental performance and contribute to a more sustainable future.
You will report directly to our VP of HSE and you will work out of our headquarters in Houston TX, on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact our organization by developing and implementing water management strategies that align with our mission and values. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive water conservation initiatives, ensure compliance with water regulations, and promote sustainable water practices. Your work will contribute to our efforts in reducing water consumption, minimizing water-related risks, and enhancing our reputation as a responsible and sustainable organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and implement comprehensive water management strategies that align with the organization's mission, ensuring a culture of environmental responsibility.
* Conduct water assessments and audits to identify water-related risks and opportunities for improvement.
* Develop and implement water conservation initiatives and best practices to minimize water consumption and promote sustainable water use.
* Ensure compliance with water regulations, permits, and certifications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive water-related projects and initiatives.
* Monitor and report on water consumption, water quality, and other water-related metrics.
* Stay updated on emerging water management trends, regulations, and best practices.
* Provide guidance and support to internal teams on water management and sustainability practices. Supporting additional sustainability initiatives as needed
This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

* 3+ years of experience in water management, sustainability, or a related field
* Strong knowledge of water management principles, practices, and regulations
* Proficiency in water conservation strategies and best practices
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
