Job Description BAE Systems' Air and Space Force Solutions (ASFS) Sensor and Electronic Solutions (SES) business unit seeks a senior leader Director of Growth Strategy & Planning. Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to align and focus the line and business winning team resources to drive the organization's strategic growth objectives. This position will develop and refine an understanding of customers' most important needs and create/lead winning capture strategies by identifying technical, solution, past performance, and key personnel gaps; proposing solutions/remedies to fill these gaps; and taking the ownership to close these gaps. This position will maintain capability awareness across both BAE Systems and our broader technology partnerships to identify value added capabilities and bring them into their campaigns with a focus across hardware and software architectures used in integrated sensing solutions to include radar, electromagnetic warfare, communications, telemetry, electro-optical and flight termination systems.

This position will primarily perform these activities in or around Fort Walton Beach, FL. Hybrid work accommodations may be considered.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Intelligence & Security (I&S), based in McLean, Virginia, designs and delivers advanced defense, intelligence, and security solutions that support the important missions of our customers. Specific duties include:
- Analyze potential customer priorities, budgets, command structures and acquisition approaches. Apply this analysis to develop, refine and communicate the ASFS and SES Strategic Growth Strategies, Campaigns and specific opportunity capture plans
- Conduct strategic planning to include identification of long term market trends, areas for investment, new/adjacent customers/relationships and out of the box approaches to solve problems; Translate customer requirements into executable solutions, suggest technology and other enablers to meet emerging customer needs
- Drive campaign growth strategies into short and long term budgeting processes/planning. Translates broad strategies into specific objectives and action plans; implements process and systems to support priorities; integrates efforts across functions; assigns clear authority and accountability
- Credibly leading our efforts in the ASFS organization to enable us to qualify pipeline opportunities, grow the existing pipeline, focus resources and execute strategies supporting pending awards and the existing SES portfolio
- Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for the pursuit and successful capture of key opportunities; It is expected the Director of Growth Strategy & Planning will contribute to writing white papers, RFI responses and proposals.
- Grow the opportunity pipeline within the ASFS markets/customers, through diligent and timely identification/qualification of new business opportunities by leveraging current technologies, customer intimacies, and inter-company collaboration
- Lead or make recommendations to the senior leadership team regarding bid decisions, development of cost strategies and phase reviews
- Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships and assess competitor capabilities aligned to specific customers in the Air and Space Force market; Coordinate customer engagement planning and the execution of an internal/external communications plan in partnership with business area, Sector and Inc level Business Winning activities
- Identify, track and report new business metrics. Lead the implementation of actions to improve efficiency and business growth outcomes.
- Perform other duties as necessary
This position will primarily perform these activities in or around Fort Walton Beach, FL. Hybrid work accommodations may be considered.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 20 years related work experience (minimum)
- 15 years' experience minimum working with customers across DOD with integrated sensing requirements and capabilities. Knowledge and customer intimacy at a senior and strategic level within the integrated sensing community is expected.
- Proven track record of driving new business and expanding existing relationships through successful capture of large programs using industry recognized capture processes.
- Deep familiarity with DoD planning and budgetary processes.
- Able to work independently and demonstrate strong initiative and an ability to organize assigned daily tasks and the tasks of subordinates with no supervision
- Possess strong communication skills (oral and written) as well as the ability to interact with team members, external vendors, various levels of management and internal clients with assorted levels of computer experience
- Understanding of integrated sensing hardware and software architectures
- Experience in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Active SECRET DoD Security Clearance or higher with the ability to obtain and retain a Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance
- Background knowledge in ground radar, electro-optical, telemetry, and command destruct systems
- Practical experience with development of investment proposals and execution of internal research and development projects.
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Current Extensive experience working proposals and responding to RFP's
- Previous military experience encouraged to apply
