Job Summary
We are seeking an individual with experience in conducting survey research to serve as a Research Technician Associate/Intermediate for pediatric studies. Successful candidates will have
experience assisting with social-behavioral research, experience in interacting with young children and their parents, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities*
- Recruit eligible families for study
- Screen families for study eligibility
- Deliver and collect study materials from participants
- Maintain records of eligible families
- Contact eligible families at clinics and over the phone
- Explain project and follow informed consent procedures
- Collect data with participating families according to study procedures
- Assist with subject payment/compensation as needed.
- Assist Project Coordinators and PIs in site-specific project activities, ensuring
they are completed on-time: - Help score, clean, and enter data
- Assist with study databases (e.g., REDcap)
- Provide necessary documentation to Project Coordinator for IRB records,
ongoing research credentialing, etc. - Participate in ongoing training as needed for study activities and human subjects protection
Required Qualifications*
Intermediate
- High school diploma or Associates degree and 1-2 years of experience
Associate
- High school diploma or Associates degree and 1 year of experience
Desired Qualifications*
Bachelor's Degree in related field

Background Screening
Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings.
