We have an opening for a Web Content Specialist. We operate within a hybrid work model, supporting flexibility between office time and work from home. Considering this model, this role could be based in the following cities:

About Brand Communications at DLR Group

At DLR Group, the Brand Communications team manages the digital representation of the firm’s brand to support strategic growth, messaging, and recruitment. By leveraging a deep understanding of best practices and audience retention, the team highlights the firm’s expertise and brand promise for prospective clients, partners, and new hires.  

Position Summary

As the Web Content Specialist at DLR Group, you will play an important role in the management, optimization, and execution of web content and digital ads. This role is central to transforming marketing content into high-quality web pages, improving website performance, and implementing SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and visibility. The ideal candidate is a creative, analytical problem-solver who can work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with business objectives. 

We are looking for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who can work independently with minimal guidance. You are a problem-solver with a creative mindset and have a strong attention to detail. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited about contributing to innovative web strategies that drive measurable results. 

What you will do:

  • Content Management:  
  • Manage website content publishing via tickets, ensuring content aligns with brand standards.
  • Transform marketing content into beautifully formatted web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Update and optimize content across digital platforms, including Google Business, Bing Places for Business, Yelp, and more. 
  • Content Optimization:
  • Regularly audit the website – using Google Analytics, heat maps, Google tag manager, etc. – to ensure content accuracy, optimize load speeds, and fix technical issues like broken links or images.
  • Improve website content through data-driven strategies to boost engagement and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-channel marketing efforts to create a cohesive user experience across email campaigns and paid ads. 
  • SEO Strategy:
  • Execute and monitor SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, traffic, and visibility.
  • Use A/B testing and personalization techniques to optimize user paths and enhance conversion rates. 
  • Project Management:  
  • Collaborate on website projects, prioritize tasks, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Manage internal requests for new pages, content updates, and feature enhancements.
  • Work with the Digital Brand Manager to strategize and set timelines for cross-departmental projects.
  • Regularly develop and share out reports for both specific projects and time-oriented requests. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication or English.
  • 2-5 years of experience in web content management and digital marketing.
  • 2+ years of experience in WordPress, including knowledge of plugins and themes.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, and other marketing analytics tools.
  • Strong understanding of user behavior, UX best practices, and SEO optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Understanding of website security best practices.
  • Experience with content proofing and adhering to AP standards. 

Preferred Experience And Skills:

  • Experience with digital advertising and Google Ads campaign management.
  • Graphic design skills, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Knowledge of BrightEdge SEO platform or a similar platform.
  • Experience with project management tools like Monday.com.
  • Familiarity with website accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • A deep understanding of web development processes, including browser testing and debugging.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and version control systems.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

The suggested pay range for this position is:

Pay Range$55,000—$65,000 USD
