Technical Writer IV

Position Overview
The Technical Writer IV will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation that meets the needs of our engineering audience. This role requires a deep understanding of programming languages, particularly C++, and the ability to format content using Markdown. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers to produce clear and concise materials that support our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user manuals, technical guides, and online help documentation for engineering products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather information and ensure accurate representation of technical details in documentation.
• Utilize Markdown for content formatting to create structured and visually appealing documentation.
• Review and edit documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
• Conduct usability testing of documentation to ensure it meets the needs of the target audience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in a software or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of programming languages, particularly C++, and ability to write for an engineering audience.
• Proficiency in Markdown content formatting tools and techniques.
• Experience with VR/MR technologies is a plus.
