Job Description

The Team

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join American Tower’s IT organization. The team focuses on delivering technology solutions, data management, and reporting analytics that support U.S. Tower operations. Day to day you will administer system applications, configure enhancements, fulfill maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues, and support users across the organization and external customer base. As a Systems Administrator, you will serve as a subject matter expert, partner with functional teams and leaders, and help maintain the operational infrastructure by supporting issue resolution, system improvements, and ongoing business needs.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Administer and configure system platforms, including user setup, profiles, roles, object customization, fields, record types, page layouts, and data management transactions.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for technical support and troubleshooting of supporting applications.
  • Support business requirements gathering and the design, testing, and implementation of information technology solutions that meet established requirements and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze integration issues across associated systems and teams.
  • Analyze and resolve complex functional and data issues and develop solutions and workarounds.
  • Develop training materials and support system user training workshops, including presenting new systems, features, and enhancements and providing one-on-one training.
  • Implement and maintain system governance best practices, including security settings, user permissions, system configuration documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Scope and prioritize enhancement requests with multiple stakeholders, including the Project Management Organization, internal business customers, and senior management, and support roadmap maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain productive business customer relationships and support collaborative solution delivery.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support business operations and decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned.
     

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a concentration in a relevant field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of system support experience required.
  • Experience bringing robust, scalable systems solutions to market preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations for system improvements.
  • Ability to provide technical direction and guidance to support business operations.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and other information technology project management methodologies.
  • Ability to evaluate additional products and add-ons to identify potential functionality and implementation requirements.
  • Strong understanding of information technology and business concepts preferred.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Fluency in English required; multilingual capabilities preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
