Full Job Description
STEEL WORKER-Woodbury, CT: Follow blueprints specs to determine where to hoist & install structural steel & precast concrete. Setup framework of building, connect columns, beams, position steel girders/other structural elements. Iron & steel work, cut, bend/weld steel pieces, demolition of iron, steel. Force, mount & splice steel supports, pillars, & parts of structural frames into final positions. Unload & stack prefabricated iron & steel so that it can be lifted with slings. Fabricate, install, & weld structural steel shapes & frames, columns, beams, or girders, plates, & the built-up sections. Layout, fabricate, & install sheet metal assemblies & systems.
