Core Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enhance working demand forecasts to maintain optimal inventory levels and achieve cost objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple functions (Including but not limited to Product, Operations, Finance and Marketing) to drive continuous improvement in the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process
- Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert within the O9 planning platform, training and mentoring direct reports and dotted lines for efficient use of the system at every level.
- Develop requirements for system enhancements to existing planning applications and/or system integrations as new tools are introduced.
- Ensure the planning teams are adhering to agreed master data management (MDM) policies to ensure a common understanding, consistency, accuracy and control in the ongoing maintenance and application use of information.
- Key contact for field and corporate escalations, working quickly to resolve all issues related to inventory/materials production and planning.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain systems, processes, and tools to focus on effective materials management, planning, forecasting and network optimization.
- Lead enterprise wide performance improvement projects to improve planning KPIs and optimize operational processes; Effectively communicate all project timelines, deliverables, and risks associated with the stand-up and deployment of the operation.
- Develop short and long-term forecasting plan for inventory needs that seek to minimize total costs while maintaining optimal service levels.
- Support the development of repeatable, and thus scalable, plans and processes in order to speed time to market and improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the hiring, training and onboarding of new planning analysts and Sr. analysts into the supply chain team.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Advanced working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically O9 Planning system, or proven ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
