This position is a "as needed" opportunity and hours will range from 0-19 hours per week and is a in-person position and cannot be remote

The Interpreter/Translator offers interpreting and translation services to individuals and families with a variety of risk factors (mental/behavioral health conditions, substance use disorders, poverty) of all ages (birth through adult) within the office, community, and home settings. This position is responsible for individual and group services as well as written translation of clinical and/or agency documents as needed. This provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma Informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health.

More specifically, this position is responsible for:

• Provide trauma informed interpreting and translation services to clients and their family system in office, school, community, home, and virtual settings, including individuals, families, and groups.
• Provide accurate, concise, and concurrent translating of documentation according to individual program procedures and policies.
• Provide consultation and collaboration with community partners and clients’ treatment teams.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• One (1) year experience providing interpreting services in professional environments.
• One (1) year experience translating professional documents (preferably in a health, behavioral health, or education field).
• Interpreter certification preferred.
• Must have an acceptable driving record (4 points of less), reliable transportation, and carry automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000.
