Ship/Rec Specialist - Level 2



As a Ship/Rec Specialist - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for managing the shipping and receiving operations at our Iowa location. You will report directly to our Shipping and Receiving Manager and you'll work out of our Iowa location on a work schedule.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient movement and delivery of goods within our supply chain and distribution network. You will be accountable for coordinating transportation methods, optimizing shipping processes, and ensuring timely deliveries while keeping costs in check.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage and oversee all aspects of shipping and receiving operations
* Coordinate transportation methods and select cost-effective and efficient options
* Streamline shipping and distribution processes to minimize guide times and reduce transportation costs
* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries
* Implement data-driven strategies to optimize logistics operations and adapt to market demands
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of distribution processes
* Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to maintain a performance-driven edge
* Provide regular reports and recommendations to management on cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

YOU MUST HAVE

* 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving operations or a related field
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments
