As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you’ll be an integral part of a passionate design team of approximately 40 members, collaborating closely with product leads and engineering partners. Your focus will be on developing creative solutions that not only meet business goals but also deeply resonate with user needs. You will contribute to the evolution of a global design system and play a key role in maintaining a consistent digital brand presence across various platforms. Responsibilities:
- Conduct generative and evaluative design research to inform product development.
- Analyze business and technical requirements, leading synthesis sessions using agile and lean methodologies.
- Create user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and comprehensive design documentation.
- Collaborate with accessibility and design standards teams to ensure compliance and brand alignment.
- Present design concepts and deliverables to project teams and stakeholders.
- Partner with developers using tools like Figma and Zeplin.
- Contribute to the overall UX/UI design strategy and refine the design system.
- Document and present design updates to stakeholders and users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve impactful user experiences.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies to advocate for design needs.
- Foster a culture of user empathy and curiosity.
- Champion consistent design processes, methods, and patterns.
- Effectively manage project workload, timelines, and gather necessary requirements.
- Coordinate with UX Lead, product leads, design team, and engineers to ensure timely delivery.
- Foster a collaborative environment with business and creative units.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, interaction design, HCI) or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of professional design experience.
- Advanced understanding of design systems, typography, visual design, responsiveness, accessibility, branding, illustration, data visualization, iconography, and interaction design.
- Proficiency in information design, user scenarios, digital interaction design patterns, website architecture, user interfaces, and navigation across various platforms (web, mobile, tablet).
- Experience with user-centered research methodologies (e.g., usability testing, contextual inquiry).
- Understanding of factors influencing design decisions (physical, cognitive, cultural, and social).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-management skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Adaptability to new information, situations, and challenges.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant work.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Familiarity with front-end coding technologies and data modeling.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $61.20 to $68.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
