The Team
We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Program Management to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s Data and Digital Solution team. The Data and Digital Solution organization manages existing systems, provides access to data and analytics to business teams, and proactively identifies ways to evolve platforms or bring in new platforms to meet business needs. The Sr Manager is responsible for the governance and management of technology platforms, working closely with business and technology leaders to derive technology advancement and solutions for business processes optimizations. The Director works closely with IT department and Data and Digital Integration team leaders to execute administration of core U.S. Tower systems. You will drive and consult with key stakeholders, business leaders, and executives to determine how uniform processes and technologies can assist them, and then translate their needs into optimized system requirements or system/technology solutions, including a scheduled and planned approach on how to achieve their stated results.
What You Can Offer Us
- Manage budget, internal IT and USTO resourcing, and external vendor management of IT projects associated with Technology for UST business areas.
- Execute the strategy and drive implementation of multiyear multi technology plans across all UST Functional areas (Legal, Sales, Ops, Finance, IT) and with our external customers.
- Review project proposals and determine scope, approach, time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project staffing requirements. Ensure Stakeholders and internal customer expectations are met with technology schedules and deliverables.
- Provide communication plans and executive updates, adjust projects and communications for risks. Drive change management.
- Lead program oversight of cross functional large-scale initiatives such as large M&A transactions and customer negotiation implementations for business leads as assigned.
- Identify risks to program, resolve issues, provide executive communication and updates, revise strategy and planning of the program, adjust schedule and resources, revise budget and cost as changes and impacts are identified to executives, senior leadership, and project teams.
- As a Senior Manager, you are responsible for the recruitment, performance management and career development of Project Managers and Program Managers. You’ll also be expected to cultivate a collaborative team dynamic that enables us to meet our business objectives.

What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience designing and implementing technical solutions required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in project/program management and execution with major development projects required.
- A minimum of 3 years of management experience, including experience building, leading, and managing teams required.
- Project management Professional (PMP) required.
- Approximately 25% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities.
- Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for yourself and a team to meet requirements and deadlines.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.
- Strong leadership skills; ability to drive and motivate team to achieve results.
