About the OpportunityOur client is seeking an experienced Senior GoLang Developer to join a high-performing engineering team focused on building scalable, reliable backend systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex distributed systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Go (Golang)
- Build and optimize APIs, microservices, and distributed systems at scale
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and DevOps
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency across the codebase
- Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmaps
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and backend development
- Experience building and scaling microservices architectures
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, concurrency, and performance optimization
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience with high-traffic, consumer-facing platforms
- Knowledge of messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in agile development environments
