Data Management Specialist

Pay From: $115,000 per year
MUST:
Experienced Data Management Specialist
Must have active Top Secret clearance
10+ years of IT related experience.
5+ years of experience in IT or data management.
Strong data acumen with a focus on enterprise data governance, data standards, and data management best practices.
Develop and implement data strategies and projects that align with government IT governance policies and frameworks, ensuring data standardization, integrity, security, and compliance.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and process re-engineering proficiency.
Collaborate with government stakeholders to understand their data needs, translating these into actionable IT and data management solutions that improve enterprise operational efficiency.
Work closely with various IT, data management, cybersecurity, and policy teams to integrate data solutions and initiatives across government functions, promoting a cohesive approach to information sharing and compliance.
Conduct analysis of government systems and data management practices, identifying opportunities to enhance information sharing and data maturity best practices, and develop recommendations for executive management.
Establish and implement processes and procedures to effectively manage requirements.
Strong researcher with excellent writing and communication skills.
Bachelor s degree in communications, Business, Finance required
DUTIES:
This role requires a proactive professional with strong analytical skills and an understanding of IT data strategies, standards, and best practices.
The ideal candidate will excel in identifying, analyzing, and delivering strategic data solutions tailored to the unique enterprise needs of the government client.
Your expertise will drive team success through thoughtful analysis and execution, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Strong customer focus, including the ability to manage customer needs and multiple work priorities.
Knowledge of IT and data-related Executive Orders and applicable directives, policies, frameworks, and regulations.
Identify potential risks related to data management and IT systems, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring the stability and reliability of government data assets
