WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- This position significantly contributes to supporting and managing the POS (Point of Sale) data. This role is key to providing specific data points for total POS. This position will work 4 days a week onsite at our retail partner Menards, in Eau Claire, WI and 1 day at home.
- Analyze and interpret all POS data.
- Schedule and implement monthly POS meetings. Incorporate all business functions as part of the meeting and action plans
- Develop action plans by product category and SKU
- Implement an action item list for the sales and product marketing team
- Analyze current and historical promotional data
- Collecting and analyzing data for sales trends and forecasting purposes while maintaining weekly inventory
- Support the product management team with SKU-level performance
- Communicate all new items set up information, product, and packaging specifications
- Analyze information and develop recommendations to drive sales opportunities, improve margins and increase inventory turns
- Maintain effective working relationships with Menard, Inc. employees, suppliers and customers; promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company; ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction
- Forecasting and tracking daily sales, replenishment scheduling, and logistics coordination that provides for effective and efficient order fulfillment
- Leveraging analytical skills to identify shortage opportunities, uncovering root causes, proposing solutions and driving change
- Support strategic planning functions including identifying key advertising drivers for sales development
- Perform all other duties as assigned by vendor
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to handle concurrent projects in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong interpersonal, written, oral, and meeting management skills
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office and utilization of CRM tools
- Ability to communicate with team members, customers, suppliers, and organizational leaders
- A professional and positive approach, being a self-motivated and dynamic team player
