Schedule/Shift:
- Sunday - Thursday
- 12 PM to 9 PM
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Receiving Lead and the clerical team to confirm manpower needs and ensure the Warehouse Lead receives daily updates on bid names and hours.
Ensure the Warehouse Lead performs two inbound observations during each shift.
Conduct an initial floor walk at the beginning of the shift to identify any potential receiving gaps or inventory concerns.
Address Purchase Order variances and investigate the root causes of gains and losses.
Review the prior day's receiving productivity and discuss any concerns with warehouse leadership, receiving leads, and clerks. Provide coaching to team members who are not adhering to established processes.
Review the "WMS Inventory Adjustments Report" for the day and take action on adjustments as required.
Analyze the top ten gain/loss discrepancies and coordinate with the team for validation through recounts.
Ensure timely processing of put away to prevent loads from sitting on the dock. The Warehouse Lead should follow up daily with the supervisor before leaving.
Collaborate with the Receiving office to close initiated ASNs and address any identified gaps with the team.
Promptly invoice any requests from the Customer Service team and retrieve items as needed.
Process Vendor claims by collaborating with warehouse clerk.
Verify that damages have been recorded by the warehouse clerk and confirm that a damage bid has been performed by the warehouse.
Audit return forms to ensure proper processing by the warehouse before submission to the Customer Service team.
Ensure that all incoming new items have designated pick locations established prior to warehouse needs.
Review and respond to all inventory and receiving-related emails concerning open items.
Systematically and physically validate Recoup volume with cycle counters.
Conduct daily validation of Kronos hours to ensure team compliance and address any observed discrepancies.
Review DPMC metrics and escalate any concerns related to inbound processes.
Prepare and send a shift recap that encapsulates all relevant PL&D information, along with the receiving report, to the incoming supervisor and direct manager.
Required Education and Experience:
- Associate's Degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience or a High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 5 plus years of related experience and 2 plus years of supervisory experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree
