Job Summary

Working with a mentor, incumbent will be asked to assess needs, and scope detailed functional specifications. Able to design, code, test, debug, document, and maintains programs. Competent to work on all phases of software development life cycle. Mentor will provide instructions, and guidance on all phases of the project.

Incumbent will be working directly under the MAISE informatics team from Anesthesiology. May require supporting department research related projects involving complex queries and database work. Be that relation or non-relational back end. Research may involve interaction with the department MPOG and QA teams. Research, design, develop and implement artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced machine learning application to support research predictive analytics initiatives are available to qualified candidates.

Responsibilities*

Leverage their software engineering foundations on coding problems solution on daily hospital issues. 

Required Qualifications*

Preferably have completed two years of engineering/computer science programs, including 280/281 completion.

Desired Qualifications*

Any software engineering/computer science related students are encouraged to apply. Data science with ML/AI focused are also encouraged to apply.

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.
