As Payroll Specialist II, reporting to a Team Leader, you will provide gross-to-net payroll process information and guidance to our employees, former employees, managers, and human resource partners. You will process payroll transactions, auditing HR transactions that impact pay, working with a team, and answering phone call and email questions from employees and HR partners. Process payroll and transactions for US and Canadian employees in Workday.
Your Impact:
- Work within a team that supports HR transactions and assists employees with HR and payroll services, answering employee and HR payroll and transaction questions by phone and case management system.
- Coach employees and HR partners on transactions in Workday.
- Administer and provide expertise in resolving payroll errors and discrepancies before finalization of the payroll process.
- Process US and Canadian payroll and HR transactions.
- Understand downstream impacts of HR transactions and independently identify issues and propose solutions and process improvements.
- Help implement process improvements and technology updates.
- Identify, suggest, document, and implement ongoing process improvements.
- Assess inquiries or reported issues to determine best method of resolution.
- Work collaboratively within a team to share ideas for driving improvements and consistency of execution for HR processes.
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process knowledge.
- Collect information to understand and assess employee and HR needs.
- Manipulate reports in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v lookups).
Your Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with 1+ year experience in HR-related field (i.e. payroll, office manager/administrative assistant, or accounting); or High School diploma or GED with 3+ years' related experience.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Experience demonstrating broad HR and Payroll knowledge, providing customers with relevant information, policy explanation and navigation support.
- Experience in a centralized HR Shared Services environment.
- Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems.
- Experience with Kronos or other timekeeping system.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$48,000-$64,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
