Toy client is seeking a Packaging Designer to work with their team. This is a 40 hour/week, 6-month, freelance opportunity. This role does require onsite work 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in West LA.
The ideal candidate has toy packaging experience and is proficient using Esko.
MUST HAVES:
-2+ years of relevant packaging design experience
-Familiarity with Esko
-Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
-Ability to come onsite 3 days/week
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
-Design and update existing template packaging design concepts that support brand strategy and product positioning
-Produce final artwork (dyelines and renders) and ensure the accuracy and quality of production deliverables
-Manage project timelines and adhere to established approval procedures and protocols
-Communicate closely with 3rd party international vendors
-Provide mock-ups and prototypes for stakeholder review and feedback.
-Additional duties as assigned
