What's the role?
The Measurement and Analyzer Coordinator (MAC) for Onshore West and Greater US manages tasks related to Measurement and Analytical Operations, HSSE, compliance, reporting, and training. As a Measurement & Analyzer Coordinator, you will oversee contract analytical technicians, ensuring accurate completion of measurement and analyzer tasks such as inspections, verifications, calibrations, and meter repairs. You will provide operational leadership, coordinates daily activities, manages third-party relationships, and supports troubleshooting efforts. You must include industry experience in pipeline measurement and analyzer, regulatory knowledge, proficiency in SAP S4 and Microsoft Office, strong communication and leadership abilities, and the capability to manage multiple tasks. Travel and continuous education are required.
Accountabilities:
You will be responsible for managing multiple tasks in support of various pipeline programs associated with Measurement and Analytical Operations, HSSE, compliance/assurance, reporting, training, etc. Further, you will oversight and provide assurance of the contract analytical technicians performing corrective and preventative analytical activities in Onshore West and Greater US Operations. Also, you are responsible for providing assurance for all measurement tasks to include measurement inspections, verifications, and calibrations, as well as meter repairs, prover water draws, etc. This position will directly interface with Onshore West and Greater US Operations, Craft Maintenance, Analytical/Measurement Technical Analysts, and more.
Other duties and responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
Strong field presence required for troubleshooting and repairs
Coordinates "direct measurement control" measurement and analytical technician's daily activities
Coordinates witnessing of 3rd party measurement activities
Manages 1-4 contract technicians performing measurement and analyzer maintenance
Provide training and mentoring to both contract and Shell technicians in measurement and analytical activities; PDP/OQ assessor
Maintains all measurement test equipment for technician use in the GOM West
Conducts measurement "go-see" activities
Provides weekly updates to operations leadership (PME backlog reviews, etc.)
Responsible for PME process related to measurement and analyzers: Notification prioritization, scheduling, work order closeout, cost tracking, material purchases, deferrals, and downtime requests
Manages third party external relationships with other pipeline companies and customers
Coordinates the witnessing of 3rd party activities where needed (calibrations, water draws, etc)
Provides support to Sr Technical Analysts (measurement/analytical) troubleshooting and repairing measurement deficiencies
Responsible for contract management for measurement and analyzer contractors.
What we need from you
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
You must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in pipeline custody transfer and line integrity measurement as well as gas chromatography
Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
Regulatory knowledge and awareness regarding measurement
Capable of completing Measurement Proficiency Demonstration Program (PDP) and Knowledge and Skills Assessment (KSA)
Demonstrates proficiency in Shell Midstream Measurement Local Operating Procedures (MLOP)
Participates in audit/assurance programs
Demonstrates skills in using SAP S4 and Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Strong communication skills, including verbal and written
Ability to work well with others and lead small teams
Evidence of ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
Valid TWIC Card
Background screening and drug tests required to enter multiple 3rd party customer assets
Attends continuous education sessions to stay up to date with technology
Some travel may be required
The base salary range for this position is $101,000.00 - $151,000.00 per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 6 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave to birthing mothers, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents.
