Position Overview
As a Vertical Construction Intern for Treehouse Builders, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of vertical construction projects. The ideal candidate will be a Junior in studying Construction Management with a passion for real estate and homebuilding. This internship will be onsite in the Denver area.
What You Will Do
- Assist in coordinating project activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
- Work closely with on-site teams to observe and contribute to the vertical construction process.
- Gain practical experience in tasks such as layout, framing, and structural inspections.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including plans, specifications, and change orders.
- Support the preparation of project reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Learn and utilize industry-standard construction software for tasks such as project management and design.
- Explore the use of digital tools for data analysis and project documentation.
- Participate in safety meetings and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety protocols on construction sites.
- Engage with diverse teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project managers.
- Participate in team meetings, providing valuable input and actively contributing to project discussions.
- Tackle real-time challenges to develop critical problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with the team to address issues and make informed decisions in a dynamic construction environment.
- Engage in continuous learning opportunities, workshops, and training sessions provided by seasoned professionals.
- Seek mentorship and guidance to enhance your skills in the field of vertical construction.
- Build professional relationships within the construction industry through networking events and interactions with experienced professionals.
- Occasional travel may be necessary as needed
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management

Ideally, you'll have
- Junior/Senior studying Construction Management or related field
- General knowledge of real estate and construction principles
- Ability to work onsite in the Denver area
You'll crush it if you have experience with
- Experience with Excel, SmartSheets, Brix, Word, Powerpoint
- Highly motivated, organized, and determined individual with an eagerness to learn
