Job Description
Responsibilities
The Director, Provider Recruitment, Onboarding and Development coordinates the development of strategic and comprehensive provider recruitment and onboarding plans that support the needs and goals of Norton Medical Group. This role also leads the teams responsible for all phases of provider recruitment, which includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, onboarding and development, while ensuring all related processes are efficient and effective. While leading the provider recruitment team, the director works closely with leaders and current providers to understand the needs of the practices and efficient processes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Leads the provider onboarding efforts and develops processes that ensure the timely completion of all onboarding activities. This includes, but is not limited to, reference checking, payor credentialing, hospital privileging, insurance credentialing, provider contracting and orientation activities.
- Develops and maintains a standardized recruitment tracking and reporting mechanism, to be shared with Norton Healthcare and Norton Medical Group senior leadership. Negotiates contracts with vendors such as physician and executive search firms, locum tenens companies, recruitment media and job board companies.
- Develops realistic budget and evaluates spending on an on-going basis with the goal of maximizing cost effectiveness in relation to return on investment. Directly supervises staff and ensures compliance with the organization's policies.
- Leads all provider recruitment team efforts offering consultation, support, leadership, and strategic oversight to identify, attract, and hire the highest quality providers. Develops criteria and implements process for the selection, recruitment, and on-boarding of new providers.
- Proactively conducts research and investigates new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies and partner with executives and operations directors to generate ideas, leverage resources and shares information that facilitates an effective search process. Works collaboratively with Norton Medical Group executives, Service Line Vice Presidents, operation directors, and providers on recruitment efforts.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3 years of experience in recruiting providers
- Bachelor's Degree
Desired:
- 2 years of experience in recruitment leadership
