Who you are
Reporting to the Chief Engineer for the Warfighter Solutions portfolio, this technical role will be for a casual part-time Cyber Architect Subject Matter Expert. The successful candidate will support the architectural design of RF-enabled systems with a heavy focus on Software Defined Radio (SDR) orchestration technologies. They will assist in requirement interpretation and the decomposition of requirements into lower-tier/derived requirements. They will assist in the design/integration of third-party applications with in-house technical solutions. They will assist in the enhancement of emulation products and technology for representing radio environments. They will interface with cross-business teammates to include subcontractors. They will help groom and bring new team members up to speed on key technologies and approaches.
Basic Qualifications:
* This is a casual part-time opportunity
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 14 years or more of professional experience, 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree, or equivalent experience/combined education. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
* Broad background in all lifecycle phases of systems engineering
* Experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) solutions
* Experience in RF technical domain
* Experience in Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology and applications
* Experience in SDR orchestration platforms
* Engineering leadership experience.
* Strong customer focus with a proven record of outstanding customer satisfaction.
* Experience in Emulation technology for representing radio environments
* Experience in RF-focused architectural designs
* Experience in working with requirements and requirement decomposition
* Demonstrated interpersonal, team-building skills, strong work ethic and self-motivation
* TS/SCI eligible
Desired Skills:
* Strong oral and written communications skills.
* Experience in satellite communication systems
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
