Perform all tasks required to ensure accurate, timely and efficient operational service and processing of new client financial request, adjustments, and research/resolution requests for all payment inquiries received in Card Payments Operations, while providing outstanding client service to both internal and external clients while minimizing the operational risk for the bank.work schedule follows office centric workstyle (4 days onsite/1 day remote) at posted location-requires flexibility to work overtime as needed for mission critical role.
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Subject matter expert (SME) on essential duties and responsibilities of Financial Specialist I and II
2. Responsible for escalation of production issue for quick resolution, supporting continuous development of
systems owned by unit.
3. Departmental small project lead. Work in tandem with Sr. Financial Analyst to ensure each aspect of
Financial Operations is covered
4. Recommends and documents improvements and works with others to implement
5. Knows and applies the concepts and practices of the business, including linkages with internal and external
partners
6. May serve as manager, trainer, or coordinator for work of junior staff members
7. Organizes and performs complex analyses
8. Research and process Tier 3 task & escalations
9. Procedure & Control oversight
10. Serves as a liaison with internal and external partners
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree or combination of training/experience
2. 7+ years of experience in a Financial Specialist II or Business Analyst III role or equivalent experience in
Finance/Accounting.
3. 10+ years of experience in Payments services industry
4. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally
with team members and related departments
5. Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
6. Demonstrated ability to work in an area governed by production standards, heavy workloads and critical
deadlines
7. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
8. Able and willing to work overtime during peak times
9. Demonstrate leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1 Bachelors/Master's Degree
2. 10+ years or more of financial serving experience
3. Knowledge of all bankcard products and services, online banking, debit card/prepaid products, digital
electronic Payment products services and products
4. General understanding of the other areas within banking operations
