The Role
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst Intern to join our team. The role involves transforming supply chain, mobility, and diagnostics product teams by effectively gathering requirements, managing the product backlog, designing wireframes (using Figma), conducting data analysis, and documenting processes.This is a hybrid position located in Chicago, requiring office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business, technical and quality teams to analyze and refine business requirements.
- Create mockups using Figma to visualize screen layouts
- Develop and manage Jira stories to track project progress.
- Quickly grasp application working knowledge to create requirements documents, use cases, workflow diagrams, test scenarios, and support manuals.
- Produce comprehensive documentation, presentations, and flowcharts to communicate project details.
- Facilitate effective verbal communication with business partners, internal audiences, technical analysts, developers, and other cross-functional staff.
- Extract and analyze data from databases using SQL to generate meaningful metrics and reports
Requirements:
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Prior experince with BSA or equivalent
- Proficiency in creating mockups using Figma, story management using Jira
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to navigate with ambiguity
- Experience with Oracle or Postgres databases, particularly in pulling reports using SQL and providing meaningful metrics
- Ability to quickly grasp application working knowledge and create detailed requirements documents, use cases, workflow diagrams, test scripts, and support manuals
