Skills and Competencies
* Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
* 7-10 years of social media experience, preferably at a creative agency or large Fortune 500 or similar global organization.
* Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms. Knowledge of Sprinklr a plus.
* Creative thinking and the ability to generate and curate engaging content.
* Strong understanding of branding, messaging, and audience engagement.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Have a growth mindset, be willing to take on new challenges, own projects from start to finish, see ways to do things differently, and test and learn.
* Collaborative and diplomatic by nature, with the ability to work in a matrixed organization with a cross-functional team.
* Energetic, positive, and resilient with a demonstrated ability to influence, build relationships, and provide thoughtful direction.
Education
Bachelor's degree in marketing, integrated marketing, branding or communications, preferred.
Responsibilities
We're looking for an Assistant Vice President, Social Media to join our Digital Content and Brand Experience team. Reporting to the VP of Social Media, you'll be a key player in identifying content opportunities that align with business objectives and help execute our brand strategy across our owned social media channels. If you're passionate about B2B brand building, this is the role for you.
* Execute social media strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and broader Corporate Affairs initiatives. This includes managing content creation, posting schedules, and engagement tactics.
* Collaborate with Brand creative team and Communications partners to create compelling, social-first content such as skillfully crafted graphics, videos, and data visualizations, that are creative and engaging.
* Draft creative copy for corporate channels that leverages the brand voice
* Manage and monitor all company social media accounts, including but not limited to LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and executive social.
* Oversee how brand guidelines and best practices are applied to social media content across the business.
* Work in partnership with measurement team to prepare regular reports on social media performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.
* Assist in social listening and crisis communications planning to monitor brand reputation.
* Stay up to date with industry best practices, including AI and content innovation, and emerging social media trends.

This role is a part of the larger Corporate Affairs Group responsible for Moody's brand reputation across all touchpoints. We collaborate with all businesses and teams to develop and deliver content that tells the Moody's brand story.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $133,100-$192,950, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
