The selected individual will report to the manager of Accounts Payable and will utilize SAP/S4 and Open Text to support Accounts Payable functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, company policies and procedures, disclosure statements, and government regulations, as they relate to our accounts payable tasks.
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Timely and accurate processing of invoices
• Utilize SAP/S4 and OpenText to perform Accounts Payable processing of International invoice payments
• Perform accounting activities within the context of GAAP, FAR, CAS, and corporate policies and procedures
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills to help resolve vendor and internal personnel inquiries
• Operating independently to provide exceptional customer service for the International Team
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Clearly and professionally communicating related accounting policies and procedures
• Developing solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Supporting month-end requirements for International invoices
• Multitasking and working independently to meet service delivery agreements
Basic qualifications:
• High school diploma and 6 years of experience
• Accounts payable customer service experience is a must
• Intermediate skills in Excel and thorough knowledge of other Microsoft applications including Word and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and accounting orientation, and the ability to multi-task and manage time
Preferred qualifications:
• SAP experience
• International accounting experience
• Experience in a financial services environment
• Government contracting experience
• Understanding of FAR, GAAP, and SOX requirements
Salary Range: $51,900 - $86,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
