As a Accounting Administrator you will:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment of invoices and collection of receivables
- Reconcile bank statements with company accounts to ensure accuracy
- Assist in processing employee payroll and maintaining payroll records (Software Paychex)
- Review and process employee expense reports
- Review and process employee 401K contributions
- Enter financial data into accounting software and ensure accuracy
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and discrepancies
- Interview and onboard new employee's
- Explain Health Benefits and 401K
The ideal candidate:
- Must have Degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field
- Recent Graduate willing to learn Accounting and Human Resource duties
- Knowledge of California Labor Laws
- Knowledge of Human Resource Duties
- Experience processing Payroll
- Experience with Computerized Accounting Systems (JobBOSS preferred)
- Solid experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Bilingual English and Spanish (Preferred)
- Experience with onboarding of new employees
