About the Role

The Workday DAE team is looking to hire a Digital Account Executive focused on selling Net New core products to the Office of the CFO and CHRO.

One of Workday's primary goals is to continue the growth of the company as an innovative and significant provider of enterprise-class software solutions. Workday is looking for an Inside Sales Account Executive to sell into our Medium Enterprise Net New segment.

We are seeking a motivated sales professional to join the team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Source and close Workday net new deals

  • Manage full sales cycles

  • Own revenue number

  • Work successfully with aligned Enterprise Field Account Executive and RSD

  • Constantly fill the pipeline with new deals

  • Deal development & qualification

  • Cold calling and cultivation of existing leads

  • Articulate the Workday value proposition to mid and C-level decision-makers

About You

Basic Qualifications :

  • Prior experience with HCM and/or ERP technology

  • Preferred 1+ year in a sales closing role with successful history of relationship building, deal negotiations and territory planning

  • Preferred 2+ years inside or outside sales experience, ideally in enterprise software

Other Qualifications:

  • Consistent over-achievement of quota

  • Technically adept, self-motivated, and driven by results

  • Ability to accurately forecast based upon realistic opportunity assessments

  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction with all respective customers

  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values and align with our culture

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $84,000 USD - $126,000 USD


Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $79,700 USD - $141,800 USD
